The Inner Loop, On Real Keys

Working with an AI assistant collapses into a few moves you repeat all day: send a prompt, speak the next one, approve what came back, or throw it out and go again. The F4 gives each move its own key with an icon cap to match, so the loop runs through your fingers, not through menus.

Off the clock, the same four keys handle whatever you repeat most: copy/paste, meeting mute, window snapping, or a macro chain.

One Key. Multiple Actions

One fixed ball position can't fit every hand. With T1 HE, adjust the 34 mm trackball to match your hand size, thumb reach, and grip — less awkward stretching, less unnecessary tension, and a much easier adjustment for trackball newcomers. The ball is also removable, making routine cleaning quick and easy.

Thanks to Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS), you can now assign up to 4 distinct actions per key based on press depth. A light press moves your character, a deeper press makes them run, and releasing the key enables additional commands. This layered control lets you execute multiple moves with ease.

Pick a Preset, or Just Describe It

Plug in, open launcher.keychron.com in your browser, and the F4 is ready to configure — no download, no driver. Choose a ready-made preset for codex or claude and go, or remap the keys, record macros, and set how far each key travels.

The codex and claude presets each include a key for voice input. Prefer to just say it? The built-in AI assistant sets keys up from a plain-language request.

*The F4 does not have a built-in microphone. For voice input, use your computer's built-in microphone or an external microphone.

The F4 HE 8K comes with pre-lubed Keychron Ultra-Fast Lime Magnetic Switches for smooth, stable keystrokes. These switches also let you set each key's actuation point from 0.20 to 3.30 mm with 0.1 mm sensitivity. Choose a shallower setting to register a press sooner or a deeper setting for more deliberate input.

Wired 8K Polling Rate

Instant Control, Ultra-Fast Response

With a wired polling rate of 8,000 Hz, the F4 HE 8K can report key inputs to your computer up to 8,000 times per second. It delivers responsive input whether you’re running a shortcut at work or switching weapons mid-match. Pair it with an 8K-rated cable like the Keychron Coiled Aviator Cable 8K since standard USB-C cables cap the polling rate.
