Steps:

1. Fork this repo, then sign in at render.com.
2. Click New → Blueprint and connect your fork.
3. Render reads render.yaml and auto-provisions a free PostgreSQL database (malvin-db).
4. Fill in SESSION_ID and MALVIN_API_KEY when prompted — everything else has defaults.
5. Click Apply.

Render's free Postgres lasts 90 days. After that, grab a free external DB from neon.tech or supabase.com and paste it as DATABASE_URL. Leave it blank and the bot falls back to SQLite automatically.

Steps:

1. Fork this repo and go to railway.app.
2. New Project → Deploy from GitHub repo → select your fork (builds from Dockerfile).
3. + New → Database → PostgreSQL — Railway auto-links DATABASE_URL.
4. In Variables, add SESSION_ID, MODE=public, TIME_ZONE, MALVIN_API_KEY, AUTO_LIKE_STATUS=true, AUTO_READ_STATUS=true.
5. railway.toml handles the health check (/health) and auto-restart.

Steps:

1. Fork this repo and sign in at koyeb.com.
2. Koyeb has no built-in database — get a free PostgreSQL from neon.tech, supabase.com, or aiven.io.
3. Click Deploy Now, or Create App → GitHub → select your fork.
4. Set SESSION_ID, MALVIN_API_KEY, and DATABASE_URL in the service environment variables.
5. Koyeb uses Dockerfile + koyeb.yaml automatically.

Skip DATABASE_URL and the bot uses local SQLite — data resets on every redeploy.

Requires a Linux VPS (Ubuntu 20.04+) with Node.js 20+ and Git installed.

Create a .env file in the project root using the variables from the table above.

4. Install FFmpeg (required for media commands)

5. Start the bot

npm start

6. Keep it running with PM2 (recommended)

pm2 start index.js --name malvin-xd
pm2 save
pm2 startup

7. Update the bot

git pull
npm install
pm2 restart malvin-xd
